Terms of Use
Effective 1 October 2026
SukhRaah is operated by The Book People, India. These are the same Terms shown inside the app.
Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and SukhRaah. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use SukhRaah.
Who can use SukhRaah
You must be 18 years or older and able to make a binding agreement under Indian law. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your phone and one-time passwords safe. One account per person.
What SukhRaah is — and is not
SukhRaah offers reflection and guidance based on the Bhagavad Gita. Answers are created by an AI model using Gita verses. They can be incomplete or wrong, and they are not the words of Shri Krishna or any spiritual authority.
SukhRaah is NOT a doctor, therapist, counsellor, lawyer, astrologer or financial advisor, and does not give medical, mental-health, legal or financial advice, predictions or remedies. Every decision you take is your own.
In a crisis or emergency, contact Tele-MANAS 14416, emergency services 112, or the nearest hospital immediately.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
• use SukhRaah for anything illegal, harmful, hateful, sexual or abusive, or to harass anyone;
• try to make the AI produce harmful content, or to get around its safety rules or limits;
• copy, scrape, resell or reverse-engineer the app or its content, or overload our servers;
• pretend to be someone else or use another person's number.
We may limit, suspend or block accounts that break these rules.
Free and Premium plans
The full Gita, recitations, Shanti, Tirth, Panchang and other features are free. AI questions have a daily limit, which is higher on Premium. Limits may change, and AI answers may be paused for everyone for safety or cost reasons.
Premium, when offered, is a subscription sold through Google Play at the price shown before you buy. It renews automatically until you cancel in Google Play. Refunds follow Google Play's policies and applicable law.
Content
The Bhagavad Gita text belongs to everyone. The app, its design, translations, recordings, illustrations and other content are owned by SukhRaah or its licensors and are for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share verses and answers with others using the share button.
Your questions remain yours. You give us permission to process them to run and improve SukhRaah, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes and availability
We may update the app, add or remove features, or change these Terms. If a change is important we will show it in the app and ask you to agree again. We try to keep SukhRaah available but cannot promise it will always work without interruption.
Ending your account
You can stop using SukhRaah and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may end or suspend access if you break these Terms or if required by law.
Limitation of liability
SukhRaah is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions you make based on the app, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer law.
Law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes will be handled by the courts of India.
